COURSES: THIRD QUARTER
DES 103: Drawing III, 3 credits
Students will conceptualize and illustrate using fundamental drawing skills and principles, including spatial perception, composition and figure drawing. They will plan illustrations to fit within the context of a typographic design and layout.
DES 122: Typography II, 3 credits
The purpose of this course is to provide students with further study of typography through an introduction to page layout techniques and process information design.
DES 133: Graphic Design III, 3 credits
The purpose of this course is to apply the concepts learned in Graphic Design I and II to three-dimensional graphic design packaging.
DES 147: Graphic Production III, 3 credits
This course is the third and final part of the Adobe CS3 Series. It provides insight and skill into the use of Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Students gain a basic understanding on the concepts of pixel based image editing.
NME 120: New Media III, 6 credits
This is the third part of a three quarter coordinated studies class designed specifically for students in Commercial Photography, Graphic Design, and Publishing Arts to meet the general education components of their respective programs.
