FACULTY: LINDA LAPPING
Linda Lapping grew up as the daughter of a professional artist. Her passion for art
and the process of creating brought her into the commercial art realm where she has
designed and illustrated for over 15 years. She has taught art classes at the Monart
School of Art in Bellevue and Federal Way Public Academy as well as SCCC. She has
designed and illustrated commercially for The Smithsonian Institute, Cost Plus World
Markets, Dairy Queen, Cartoon Network, Smith and Hawken, Birdsye, Target, Harry and David,
Lowe's, Seattle Chocolates, Warner Brothers, and Disney Studios. She credits much
of her success to the fact that she worked hard and graduated from SCCC's Advertising
Art program in the early 1990's.
