FACULTY: ERIK FADIMAN
Erik Fadiman is the Creative Director of Fadiman Graphic Design, a small design
firm with a global reach. He is comfortable designing for both print and web, and
works with local, national, and international clients. Previous projects have
included branding and packaging for retail products, corporate identity for
technology start-ups, publication design, website design and building, interactive
product demos, information graphics, and marketing collateral. He has a degree in
Fine Arts from UCSC and spent a few years pursuing a "starving artist" lifestyle, while
working as a Chef in San Fransisco and Portland. Fortunately, he came to his senses
before opening his own restaurant as he was swept up in the excitement of the
technology boom of the late 90's. Armed with a minimal knowledge of HTML, he began
designing web pages in 1999 and his area of expertise now includes Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign, Quark, Dreamweaver, and Flash. He currently lives in West Seattle and his
interests include bicycling, gardening, and spending time with his family.
